The Witches Weeping Cookbook: For Unhappy Housewives
By Rhythmer Witch
How I Cook
I cook when I’m mad
I think when I cook,
And you wouldn’t believe the recipes
I’ve got written in my book.
Why I’ve got buttermilk soup
And sour cream pie,
Even made some Voodoo cookies
With a recipe for a gingerbread guy.
Yep, for good old comfort food
There’s a lot to be said,
Especially when someone
Has filled your heart with dread.
Sometimes I dance around the table
And with sage I smudge the air,
Then make a bunch of fatting sweets
When life to ME’s unfair.
So the next time you bake yourself
A loaf of homemade bread,
While punching down the dough
Try thinking of their heads.
Yes, when you’re filled with sorrow
And your eyes begin to cry,
It’s time to take off to the kitchen
And make a cocoa hope pie.
Yes, there’s power in the kitchen
When you cook with magic herbs,
And I’ve got a lot of recipes
That few have ever heard.
